Robert D. Thompson was a former senior owner of a medium sized Philadelphia law firm and, until he left to form Robert D. Thompson & Associates, L.L.C. in February, 2000, he was the managing owner of that firm's New Jersey office. For over 21 years Mr. Thompson devoted a substantial amount of his work to the representation of design professionals including architects, engineers and land surveyors. For the last 10 to 15 years of his legal career, approximately 75 percent of his time was devoted to the representation of design professionals.
John M. Becker was previously an associate with Robert D. Thompson & Associates, his practice focusing on the representation of design professionals. Mr. Becker has 18 years of experience in handling construction litigation and professional liability matters.
Kevin M. Bothwell was previously a shareholder at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, where his practice focused on the representation of design professionals and contractors in construction litigation. Mr. Bothwell earned his undergraduate degree in architecture and prior to becoming a lawyer, he worked for three years as a draftsman, estimator and project manager for a local contractor, and for five years as the zoning officer and code enforcement official for a local municipality.
